I start from the shoes! My passion is a great boot that’s funky, colourful and makes me feel unstoppable, then finding or making an outfit.
What makes your style stand out?
My wardrobe isn’t about trends; it’s about transformation. Some days, I whisper my story through minimal lines and quiet structure. Other days, I shout it joyfully in texture, print, and movement. But always, there’s a nod to the mosaic of my background, including my time in the corporate world, my involvement in theatre, and my Chinese heritage.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment was meeting the iconic Zandra Rhodes, the “Princess of Punk” and the most marvellous creator of colourful and dramatic prints. She is an inspiration and such a kind and friendly woman
What would you do with $20,000?
I would love to go to London on a fashion tour, including taking a fashion design course and a shoe-making course. You’re never too old to learn!
