Trenasia Pilgrim

Style is a legacy. It's 1970s Black Glamour that fights for health equity. My aesthetic is conscious, creative, and unapologetically mine.

What makes your style stand out?

My style is a vibe. I blend the glorious freedom of 1970s Black Glamour Hippie—flowing silhouettes and unapologetic volume—with the sharp edginess of a Paterson girl who loves couture. Intentionally, every look is built on ethical style and adorned with my own handmade crystal jewelry—proving that high-fashion can be fully conscious. It’s a holistic revolution.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I dream of walking a runway in an opulent Zuhair Murad piece with dramatic, 70s volume—custom-made from vegan silk. The moment would champion health for women with PCOS and Endometriosis, while honoring my mother and grandmother who I lost to AIDS. This competition is a personal mission to turn my style into a legacy of action and give women the dignity and visibility they deserve.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use my travel agent credentials to fully fund a luxury wellness retreat for Black and Brown women from my community struggling with chronic health issues. This isn't just about holistic nutrition (my vegan catering specialty); it's about providing the queen treatment, high-end living, and aspirational pampering they are often denied. I'm using this prize to bridge the gap between health access and empowering luxury.
