My mother was a model back in the 1980-90s, I want to be like her. I want to be happy and look cute doing what I love, modelling.
We would like to thank you for supporting Thomas Gervais in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style is very bold, I’m giving carefree vibes being comfortable in my body as a gay man which is needed for our community. More representation, showing diverse body types and characteristics. If gay men had more to look up to and see even in a magazine, it would help us be less scared and open our minds up more about different aspects of life and acceptance. My style tends to be very dark and bold and also very bubbly and daring. I like giving a bit of everything.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is getting the chance to be on the cover of a magazine along with meeting and connecting with fashion trailblazers. Getting to follow my mother’s footsteps and do modelling is my ultimate fashion dream.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would pay off part of my tuition, along with affording essentials for a car to get around to school and work and assisting in helping me afford rent. I work two jobs trying to make ends meet, so getting this opportunity would help my life immensely. I would also love to help my family out and raise money towards housing charities and the AIDS foundation.
