In the grip of heartbreak and CPTSD’s fog, in this cruel chaos, fashion is my rebellion: expressing emotions in cultures and styles to be me
We would like to thank you for supporting Sara Stamps in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
I want to make a difference. I want to change the world one act of kindness at a time. One I Love You at a Time. I want to love in the way I never was as I child. I begged for it at 5 years old but Only God heard this little girl soldiers cry as she was living in Hell. God started to heal me so that I could heal the world as I began to finally heal. Using culture and vibrant clothing. By being myself. Dressing myself.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Dancing down the cobblestone streets of a diverse culture. Laughing and dancing with everyone, rich and poor and young and old, while we listen to the beautiful cultural music in the background healing our sons and building confidence in our babies. Showing what real loves means.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would use it to towards the nonprofit I started building called Building Better Together (BBT) because the world needs all the support it can get. Creating businesses that will help the economy of America, the mindsets of our children, and bring communities together
