What’s your dream fashion moment?
I represent the shoulders of the Black Gay Men who were personified not objectified by charismatic flair and confident comportment. First Black Designer to produce a collaborative fashion showing -The Academy of Music. Recognition is my moment-a menswear designer of custom silk suits , sequence tuxedos decades ahead of current fashion trends. Infusing classic feminine identified luxury fabrics w masculine Tailored structure to create a wave attributed to modern creators. Never received glory.
What would you do with $20,000?
Fund my recently established non- profit “THE BLACK QUEER COLLECTIVE” an entity to curate and celebrate the creative genius and talents of Black Queer Creatives invoking cultural and social reparations and celebrating the contributions of the shoulders my contemporaries stood on while we were denied validation, recognition and economic access.
