What makes your style stand out?
My style is authentic to me, it is not trendy. The reason my style stands out is because it is from my heart, my soul, from my experiences in my life as an artist. Fashion for me expresses who I am in that moment in time, and is constantly evolving as I evolve. I choose items from another time; a mix of quality vintage finds, jewelry passed down from my Grandmother — that has sentimental value and represents my cultural heritage. I pick quality pieces that are timeless.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be wearing my own designs, a lingerie iconic & romantic fashion line I have created but need investment to bring into the world.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would give some of that money back to those who need it most, nonprofits that help humans of our world who need basic necessities. The rest I would use to start my fashion line, under my artist pseudonym Adelaide Phoenix, where I write poetry books, romance novels, film (I write love stories)… the fashion lingerie line is inspired by my other artist endeavors & it would be nice to release & produce this. It is classic, 1920s romantic fashion pieces that are poetry in motion.
