My goal is always to look like a mythical creature, a fairy to be specific. To me there’s no masculine or feminine clothing.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jess Diaz in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
Clothes are just clothes, so when I think about styling an outfit I think about what would make me look the most out of this world. I am a maximalist, layering is something I love to play with. I love some bright colors with a mixture of patterns. When I’m out and about I wound notice maybe individuals wearing neutral color palettes whereas I am in a loud, bright scheme of colors. I feel everyone could use a bit of colors more.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be styling someone else how I’d style myself. With the clothing, accessories, and makeup. I tend to downplay my style because if I wear what I want to wear I feel it might be too much. I just want to be able to wear what I want and not be seen for my gender, age, or ethnicity.
What would you do with $20,000?
Honestly, I would use it to help my family move out from our one bedroom apartment. If I have some money left over, probably buy a car so I can actually do the creative things I want to do like fashion, acting, and more.
