I grew up in poverty, so I developed my style by thrifting all of my clothes, and I always had a passion for expressing myself with fashion.
We would like to thank you for supporting Grace Isaiah in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
I think my style stands out because of me! I have a very unique and powerful aura, I can transform the most basic outfit into something gossip worthy! Also, my big afro is my signature look.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion week would definitely be walking a runway for a fashion week, because I am 5 foot 5, it always felt like something I was “too short” to do, but being able to walk the runway would be a dream come true, it is something I have wanted to do since I was a child.
What would you do with $20,000?
Well, because I grew up in poverty, and as an adult it is always still a fear that I will fall back into it, the 20,000 would finally get rid of my fears around money, and would allow me to start a career in fashion as well as getting me out of survival mode.
