What makes your style stand out?
I cannot perfectly replicate a piece I’ve made. The beautiful thing about crochet is that each piece is unique. I crochet to a maximalist level integrating accessories, experimenting with layering textures and making face coverings fashion. My style includes head to toe netted elements making each piece a one-of-a-kind rather than “mass produced”.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is to have models on the runway modeling my pieces at an important fashion event (such as Milan Fashion Week or NYFW).
What would you do with $20,000?
I would help pay for my Fashion College tuition and put the rest in a savings account so once I graduate I have enough money to move into an apartment. A room in my apartment will be used as my art studio and to help monetize my crochet business.
