For years I felt invisible. Now, my style speaks loudly—no longer silent, but seen, heard, and unstoppable.
We would like to thank you for supporting Dr. Deanna Hall in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
At 56, I step into fashion with bold elegance and unapologetic authenticity. My style blends timeless silhouettes with statement details in indigo and gold, symbols of wisdom and strength. More than clothing, fashion for me is empowerment—proving beauty is ageless and confidence never expires. My journey from Marine to educator to advocate has shaped a design voice rooted in resilience, reinvention, and fearless self-expression. Fashion isn’t about trends—it’s about owning your power.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is stepping onto a global runway at 56, wearing a design that embodies resilience, elegance, and power. I imagine indigo and gold flowing in bold lines that speak of wisdom and strength, while the spotlight confirms that style is truly ageless. It’s not just about walking the runway—it’s about inspiring every woman watching to know she, too, deserves to be seen, celebrated, and unstoppable.
What would you do with $20,000?
I’ll use the $20,000 to elevate women who’ve been overlooked—through photoshoots, storytelling, and empowerment events that remind every woman over 50 that she’s not invisible, she’s unstoppable. With Brave Again, I’ll create spaces that celebrate confidence, courage, and beauty at every age. This isn’t about fashion—it’s about freedom.
