What makes your style stand out?
Sometimes I dress in music genres, sometimes I draw inspiration from Korean street style, a preppy family I teach for, Gen Z, and people who wear a uniform like Steve Jobs. Sometimes I dress to clash or coordinate with a city's colors. I always dress for a statement, animal print is forever, and I don't even have access to the clothes I really want. I focus on the feeling and the silhouette. When you're inclusive and have something to say, you will shine.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Sitting front row at Milan, Paris, and New York Fashion Week in the same row with people I can learn from and who I have always admired. No, a custom Mason Shiaperareli wedding dress, but for the whole wedding party too, like my mom. Talk about DREAMS!
What would you do with $20,000?
Donate 10%, get my mom something to remember me by, secure my 5-year-old daughter's future in some way, catch up on all the past-due bills, pay a single mother's bill, buy some new clothes, shoes, and handbags that make me feel good as an artist, mom, and woman boss, style my whole family so we can finally take family photos. Maybe squeeze in our second mommy and daughter international trip, this time to Korea.
