I’ve been styling since the womb. When I was in Paris, I fell in love with the textures, colors and textiles. I can style anyone.
We would like to thank you for supporting Blossom Legend in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
I’m an elusive woman that mixes colors, textures, in an eclectic manner. You never have to wear the same outfit twice if you know how to drape, style and mix what you already have. My style stands out because I mix all of my cultural backgrounds, being from the Caribbean, living in Paris, and being from Texas. It creates a fashion Pandora’s box that’s effervescent, spiritual, and profound. I become walking, love.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
To create a fashion line, that’s high end and couture that has homage to our ancestors and can in a fly artistic way, dress the whole family from baby, child, man and woman. Bringing back why it’s fly to match as a family unit.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would open my brick-and-mortar, a soul food spot, dress your self, feed yourself and go into your art. It would be equal parts styling, creating collections, and producing one of one pieces that can make a big impact in the fashion world. I would use it to become more sustainable, and regenerative and work to reduce landfills by creating creative workshops that get people reinvested into reducing, reusing and recycling. Investing in projects that give back to foster children and homelessness.
