Fashion is how I turn fabric into art and show who I am without saying a word.
We would like to thank you for supporting Asha Ohira in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
I like taking vintage-inspired pieces and making them look current, confident, and true to me. Every outfit I wear has intention. I don’t just dress up, I express myself.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be to do an editorial photoshoot that captures my energy and creative vision. I want to be part of something that feels expressive, cinematic, and timeless, like a Vogue cover that reflects who I am and the story I tell through fashion.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would use it to create stability as I work toward nursing school, helping pay off school debt and supporting my future in healthcare. I want to learn how to care for people living with HIV and AIDS while continuing to express purpose and compassion through the way I create and present myself.
