What makes your style stand out?
What makes my style stand out is its gender fluidity and androgyny. When I put together an outfit for the day, I love interesting shapes, layers on layers of clothes, and a strong fashion reference. Sometimes it’s a bold color or print that catches my eye in the moment, and when it does, I go full force every time.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is to become a Black American couturier. I have always loved couture and have long aspired to be part of that legacy.
What would you do with $20,000?
This $20,000 would bring my brand, Aqua de Shi, to life. Right now, many of my designs exist only as sketches, waiting to be realized. With this support, I could transform those ideas into tangible pieces, build the foundation of a sustainable brand, and share my unique universe with the world—where fashion becomes both storytelling and art.
