Antoinette Njombua-Fombad

Style is my joy of self-expression. I become both art and artist. It’s co-creating what I feel with what each piece wants to express.

What makes your style stand out?

My style is timeless. I don’t focus particularly on trends. I do honor eras but I flow with my looks. I let them artistically talk to each other as I dress up.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

Creating a kaftan/exaggerated duster line that can transition into gowns or dresses as well. I have a thing for them. They always effortlessly add some jazz to any look.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would create an eco-friendly line that can transform and be used in many ways. I’m big on conscious consumerism, probably why I’m more of a style girl. I believe a good piece can last a lifetime with so many expressions. I plan on also helping a friend start a sewing and crafting school in Ghana.
