What makes your style stand out?
I’m from a pretty urban area. Many influences and mixes of cultures & Genres come together in a melting pot of inspiration. I like to use my surroundings to fuel my creativity and style. Current events, or even a destination. It all determines what and how I’m styling either me or a client.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be to have my brand “BLU & Co.” featured permanently in couture fashion week’s line up as a known and respected design house. I wish for longevity in the industry and to be recognized by the elite as the designer to work with!!
What would you do with $20,000?
If I were to win the 20,000 I would definitely start by obtaining a design space. A comfortable and convenient work space for me and a small team would make executing designs more realistic. When the space is up and running, I also want to utilize it make an impact on the lives of young designers by providing them with college level fashion courses. Leaving my program you’ll have full knowledge of sewing, styling, and the proper way to reach out to manufacturers.
