Yozmit The DogStar

Style is my ritual—channeling inner energies into living avatars. Each look frees me to embody and share my truth.

What makes your style stand out?

My style stands out because it dissolves boundaries of gender, culture, time, and space. Imagine if a Korean geisha were born in the Victorian era, then time-traveled to ancient Egypt — that is the spirit I embody. Each look is a portal, a living fusion of histories and identities, where ritual meets play, and tradition transforms into something futuristic. My fashion is not costume but ceremony: a timeless, borderless expression of who I am.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moments span past, present, and future. In the past, winning a design contest and receiving an award from Hervé Léger, and being crowned Queen of the Life Ball in Vienna 2013 by Harper’s Bazaar and Christian Louboutin. In the present, embodying my vision through public walks in my own wearable art. In the future, creating archetypes that are the love child of an earth shaman and high-tech aliens.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20K, I would create and style new looks daily and launch an Instagram channel for my archetypal performance art character, PRNCX — a modern interpretation of a queer sovereign being embodying both sacred masculine and feminine. Inspired by Princess Diana’s boundary-breaking legacy, PRNCX asks: what if being queer itself is sovereign? Through fashion, I would manifest this vision and share it with the world.
