To me, style is a story. A story of our desires, of who we wish to portray beyond the walls that hold our skin. Style, is a reaction.
What makes your style stand out?
Roots. I always bring my heritage to what I wear because it is woven into the tapestry of who I am as a person and as a designer. My styler reveals details about me and my personality that only those who truly know me, recognize it for being a true reflection of who I am.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is building my brand and becoming established to the point I could use the income I generate to serve the society. I am very passionate about health design and the role of fashion beyond the runway
What would you do with $20,000?
Invest it towards establishing my brand. Starting a brand is not easy to do; it requires education and patience. Two things I’m fighting for everyday and having more funds available will only help me work more realistically toward it rather than following modern trends of becoming famous just by being an influencer without any real skill or talent. Another project I’ve been working on for a few years is a line of garment for patients that is being developed and is a short term goal.
