I am West African (Sierra Leone). Since I can remember, I loved how style elevates my mood. Its like painting, but with clothes.
What makes your style stand out?
What makes my style stand out is its balance of versatility and storytelling. I draw from my West African heritage, global influences, and my background in dance and jewelry design to create looks that feel both dynamic and intentional. My style is playful yet refined. I’m not afraid to experiment with textures, silhouettes, and colors while still keeping a strong sense of who I am.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is walking a major runway like Paris or New York Fashion Week in a look that feels like art and heritage combined. I want to embody a designer’s vision while bringing my own energy, making the audience pause and remember the moment. For me, it’s about more than clothes….it’s storytelling, representation, and proving that creativity and culture belong at the center of global fashion.
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000, I would bring my handmade jewelry brand to full fruition. I’ve already started the launch process, but this funding would allow me to move from concept to reality. I would invest in sustainable materials, tools, and production, while also building branding, packaging, and marketing that reflect my vision. My goal is to create a line that merges creativity, culture, and storytelling into pieces that inspire and empower others.
