My style is performative art, maximalism shaped by Avant-Guard symbolism. This is the 2025 Scholastic Art and Writing Gold Medal, TAR BIRD.
What makes your style stand out?
I am a young artist with ambition. I strive to be the most avant-guard I can be, by styling all kinds of garments to create awe-inspiring work. I love to take inspiration from many natural sources, especially birds and turn them on their heads.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is to show my designs off on a runway! I have a lineup of many wearable art pieces that I am anxious to create! I dream of working alongside my personal heroes and greatest inspirations, Lady Gaga and the illustrious fashion house Maison Margiela.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would put the money towards achieving my dream goal: becoming a fashion designer and full-time artist. As I am so new to the field, this money would exponentially catapult me into the art world. I have so much art ready to show the world.
