my love of colors and patterns reflect my bright personality with help from fabrics and the color wheel; unique, eye-catching, and blending.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it's not something you see very often, especially in the younger generation. My understanding of patterns and fabrics allow for me to fit into the different spheres I travel into seamlessly, while also keeping my own individuality. Whether I have to dress for business meetings, classes (teaching or studying), clubs, nature, travel-I can imbue my own takes on each thing that make people do a double take or stop me when they see.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
To be able to talk with people from a range of backgrounds, whether it be ages or ethnicities or demographics, about their personal style and how that's helped them shape their sense of self. When I was a teacher, I loved helping my students figure out the balance between conformity and individuality, and how they could infuse the "popular" trends with their own personal flair.
What would you do with $20,000?
I'd put the $20,000 towards financial freedom and creative growth. Paying off my debt would lift the huge weight on my shoulders, which would allow for me to continue traveling and finding inspiration for my writing and personal style-from street style in Cologne to the textiles in Barcelona. I've been using those experiences, along with the people I meet along the way, to evolve as a stylist and storyteller, creating a sense of self reflecting on both my past and my present.
