What makes your style stand out?

I have always looked a certain fashion trend, and put my own spin to that trend. One example, was back in my day when the in thing was combat boots and jeans. I asked my grandfather, who was a shoe repair mam & shoes maker, to make me some toe flaps. I got the idea from watching marching bands (HBCU's). I dyed them black cut holes for shoes laces, attached to toe cap of the my boots, and I ended up makng several sets for friends and made some money in the process. I was 16 at the time.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment. To win and to showcase my own line of italian crafted shoe brand (Nzuri Viatu). I have been working on this for about 4 years now. I have two prototypes out now, but to actually launch outside of my area, would mean the world. My friends and associates in my area like what I have put out thus far, and keep asking when is the rest of line is coming. To continue my grandfather's shoe legacy is it for me, you know. That is my dream fashion moment.

What would you do with $20,000?

Revamp my shoe line, actually invest in a ad campaign, and give a scholarship to a passionate high schooler going to college for fashion and design. The rest that is left over, take my wife on a trip somewhere nice but not too crazy.
