What makes your style stand out?

Growing up in the suburbs of Texas, my style often has some of that western flare to it, in one way or another. That isn’t something that I allow to subject me to a certain number of ‘boxes’, though— my style may be more punk rock one day, preppy the next day, and I might wear a skirt or a dress the day after that! Who says you can’t add some fringe, a cowboy boot or a shiny belt buckle to just about anything? My feelings are never dictated by ‘boxes’, or what society says we can or cannot do.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I got a few tastes of my dream fashion moment(s) at different times in my life. The first was in 2019 when I worked for Brown Agency in Austin, TX— I was in charge of styling talent for photoshoots when updating their portfolios, among many other things. Then later in February 2023, I had the opportunity to walk in NYFW for HRM. I’d love to see myself one day being a celebrity stylist to showcase my work on a larger stage, and who hasn’t wanted to walk for their favorite fashion haus before? 🙈

What would you do with $20,000?

I’m 32 years old, and financial literacy has never really been my ‘thing’. That being said, now that I’ve lived life a little and still have much more to live, I’ve learned the importance of two things: 1) saving, and 2) having your money work for you. So a portion of it I would put into savings, some I would use for investing (with some professional advice), a portion I would send to my mom because I love her dearly, and a smaller amount I’d use to treat myself..bc in NYC $20k only goes so far!
