I like original clothes that no one else is wearing. Clothes help me enjoy special events. I also think fashion can be an ice breaker.
We would like to thank you for supporting Todd Theringer in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
I truly like style and not just some random mix of colors and wild designs. I wont wear something that makes me feel self-conscious. I have to feel a connection to what I am wearing. I'm not interested in shock value. I figure out what the events is that I'll be attending and then choose what I think is appropriate for that event. If it is a gallery opening at some place no one has ever heard of before, I won't be making a fashion statement. It will be the house party style.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Strutting into a fancy gala event where everyone has made an effort to stand out. I enjoy masked balls, so it would have to be a masked ball. I also enjoy themed gala events. For example, a Goth party for Wednesday Adams in the 18th Century.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would find some Gala events to attend in NYC for my favorite charity and wear something I didn't buy at Century 21 in NYC. I would also take a trip to Europe and find a party in a castle.
