Timmy Ramey

My style empowers me to express myself creatively and builds my confidence. Interestingly, fashion conveys a story like all other art forms.

What makes your style stand out?

My style stands out because every outfit reveals a different side of who I am and makes a statement. I love to express myself with an outfit or hairstyle that represents my mood. I'm a man of very few words, until you get to know me. I found that my style conveys what I might not express verbally. I wish I had grown up in the '80s or early '90s, and sometimes it shows in my outfits. I like to think of my style as bold and personal, like a poem, and I think that's what catches people's attention.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

This is a very hard question because there are so many to choose from. However, one that always comes to mind is attending and walking the red carpet at the Met Gala. I am always fascinated by the looks each year and think of how I would style myself if I were ever given the opportunity to attend.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would move to New York to pursue my passion for modeling and fashion. It would be a huge change, but experiencing life in an electric place like New York would give me the ambition I need to build the life I want for myself. I have always wanted to start a magazine company that celebrates the fashion styles of people from diverse cultural and lifestyle backgrounds. I want to spark change by creating a business that allows everyone to feel validated, appreciated, and connected to one another.
