What makes your style stand out?

My style stands out because I strive to wear something that embellishes my curves and natural beauty. I also love the idea of lace and straight cut lines to make a sort of edgy style that signifies a powerful energy within myself.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment was when I was given the opportunity to be a costume designer for this musical in Victoria and I was able to see all my costumes come to life through the characters. It was a lot of hard work but I felt so accomplished seeing my creativity come to life.

What would you do with $20,000?

I am a Technical Apparel Design student at the Wilson School of Design in Vancouver BC. It’s my final year at the school and we have to make a capstone project. As an ex-ski racer, my project focuses on how to prevent laceration injuries for ski racers by integrating a cut-proof material inside the speed suit. This idea can save many athletes from horrible injuries and can innovate the industry. With the prize, I would be able to fully delve deep into my research without financial constraints.
