What makes your style stand out?

Some would say it’s my size, but I say it’s everything — my size, my style, and my personality. I’ve grown to fully own who I am, refusing to let my size define or limit me. I am driven, funny, loving, kind, & always ready for anything.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would be ascending the steps at the Met Gala, wearing a look that honors the legacy of André Leon Talley — a man who made it possible for a young chubby boy to dream of the man he would become. He inspired the look that earned me a feature in Vogue, but more importantly, he shaped so much of my understanding of fashion & identity. My very presence in this industry carries meaning — not only for myself, but for those who are coming up behind us, dreaming just as I did.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use this opportunity to help fund a passion project of mine. As I’ve stepped into a role of creative direction & production, my imagination has soared in ways I never imagined. I have so many editorial ideas & stories I want to bring to life, but without the budget, they remain just ideas. This award would be a lifeline — a chance to turn imagination into creation, & dreams into something real!
