What makes your style stand out?

At 64, I am my most confident self ever. I walk straight, shoulders back, head up, eyes open and inviting with a smile and a hello to all I pass. My eye for uniqueness in what most looked over, stops people on the streets to tell me I'm beautiful or love my look. But it's only the throw aways of others, worn with my eye for my personal trend. I've been this for 50 yrs.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I've had it once. 40 years ago I graced the pages of Vogue in Spain. I did a runway for Elle magazine. Me a runaway at 12 and a mom at 15. Me who drove a tow truck and pulled parts at a wrecking yard. I walked away to marry a man who abused me 38 yrs and left at 62. I spent last year homeless at 63. I want to experience what I worked so hard to achieve long ago. Just one more time while I'm able. I'm netter than then. I accept my maturity . I love my imperfections.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would find a stable place to continue my healing without fear of homelessness and hunger. I would spoil my 2 young grandchildren like I desire and they deserve. Time is fleeting and they grow so fast. I would help my son with equipment he needs to continue his talent. And I would finally breath.
