Style became my power after childhood bullying - it’s how I show my truity, embrace my identity, and tell my story. That and the violin!
We would like to thank you for supporting Taylor R Garcia in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it’s a visual diary of who I am and who I’m becoming. I mix unexpected textures, bold shapes, and nostalgic references to create looks that feel deeply personal. Every piece I wear reflects a mood, a memory, or a message - I don’t dress to blend in, I dress to be understood. My fashion choices are fearless, intentional, and impossible to ignore because they’re rooted in authenticity.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is stepping into a space where my presence inspires others to feel at home in their own skin. I want to walk a runway or be part of a campaign that celebrates individuality and shows that fashion is for everyone. It’s not about attention - it’s about using my voice and style to remind people that they are worthy, powerful, and beautiful exactly as they are.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would use the $20,000 to continue investing in my education, building a future where I can make a meaningful impact through creativity and purpose. Most importantly, I would use it to support my daughter, who is arrived on September 29, and give her the best start possible. This opportunity isn’t just about me - it’s about creating stability, growth, and inspiration for the next generation.
