What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is showcasing my own collection on a major runway like New York Fashion Week, with models walking in pieces I hand-sewed from start to finish. I envision the crowd inspired by the blend of streetwear and luxury, and young girls watching knowing they too can create and claim their place in fashion.
What would you do with $20,000?
If awarded $20,000, I would invest in growing my fashion brand by securing a building to finally expand my sewing studio. This would allow me to produce at a larger scale while also giving back by teaching young girls how to sew for free, inspiring creativity and confidence in the next generation.
