I came from little, but fashion gave me everything—magazines inspired me, hair unlocked me, and style is my freedom
We would like to thank you for supporting Tatianna Saunders in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
What makes my style stand out is that it’s rooted in creativity and authenticity. I mix elegance with edge—I don’t just follow trends, I make them my own. My background in hair taught me how to pay attention to detail and bring out individuality, so my style is never one-size-fits-all. It’s expressive, versatile, and always tells a story about where I’ve been and where I’m going.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be walking a major runway—like Paris Fashion Week—wearing a designer who understands my story and lets me embody their vision. I imagine the lights, the energy, and that silence right before I step out… and then the world seeing me shine in a way the little girl flipping through magazines could have only dreamed of. That moment would be the perfect mix of my journey, my passion, and my purpose in fashion.
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000, I would invest directly into building my brand and career in fashion. I’d use it to create a professional portfolio, expand my network through castings and travel opportunities, and develop my own creative projects that showcase my style and vision. I’d also put a portion into education and resources—like advanced training in hair and styling—so I can elevate my craft and give back by inspiring others who come from humble beginnings, like I did, to chase their dreams fearlessly.
