Our uniqueness is explained in our brand name itself. Suburban Deviant stands out because we never intended on fitting in! Suburban Deviant is a metaphor for the outsider. We empathize with those who feel out of place and like they don’t belong. Suburban Deviant seeks to function as a form of self-fashioned sanctuary for non-normative people. The sustainably sourced materials used to create our one of one wearable artwork are as unique as our collective community: extraordinarily one-of-a-kind.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

Fashion can be both beautiful and regenerative. My fashion dream moment would be witnessing an industry that is truly zero waste, circular, and self-sustaining. A space where creativity thrives without harming the planet, where every material is reused, repurposed, and given new life. To see designers, makers, and consumers aligned in a system that honours both innovation and responsibility would be the ultimate vision!
