What makes your style stand out?

My style is both low key and highbrow. I stand out from the crowd, but not in a way that screams 'look at me!', it's more subtle. As I am middle aged, I have a great archive to draw my looks from. I combine unexpected elements in my daily outfits. I'll wear a vintage sneaker with a designer top, and a workwear pant, and always a cool cap! There is a talent to mixing elements of style that is innate, and I've got it! I learn what's happening on the runway and the street and make it work for me.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

When every element comes together organically. There's a 'flow state' that can be reached, however fleetingly, when the shoe, the hat, the clothes & the jewelry assemble themselves effortlessly. As if I'm channeling the spirit of style. When this happens I feel supremely confident, cool and calm walking into any environment. Bonus points if it's for a fantastic party!

What would you do with $20,000?

I'd use it to travel. I love to discover & support new independent designers & retailers wherever I go. Then, I introduce my friends to these talents when I bring my finds back to Los Angeles.
