One thing I’ve always loved about style is that even if other people own the same thing, you can always put your own twist on it.
We would like to thank you for supporting Sheila Lockwood in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it’s both intentional and personal. Even when I’m in more neutral or business-casual looks, I choose pieces that feel authentic and give me confidence. Jewelry is key for me, too; the pieces I wear carry personal meaning. Sometimes I’ll intentionally style outfits that highlight my tattoos, as they are also very personal to me, and each one has its own special meaning.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be attending Milan Fashion Week, as I’ve admired it from afar for years. Being able to experience the creativity and energy in a city so rich with history would not just be a dream come true.
What would you do with $20,000?
As a full-time graduate student, I would use $20,000 to alleviate financial pressure, allowing me to focus on my journalism studies and invest more in my Substack. I’d also take my parents on a well-deserved vacation for their endless support, and begin building a wardrobe that truly reflects my style—something I’ve long dreamed of but haven’t had the means to pursue.
