What makes your style stand out?
What makes my style stand out is the story behind it. I started an OOTD photo album during the pandemic in 2021—now it has 663 pictures. I picked a few to share so you can follow the journey with me. I find inspiration in music, color, and my queerness. I’m not afraid to play, take risks, and keep evolving. My style tells a story, and every day, I get to write a new chapter.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is for Chicago to be seen as a fashion hub like New York or Milan. I cofounded and organized Rewoven Runway: A Sustainable Fashion Show for Chicago Fashion Week 2025. Too often, I hear designers are leaving due to lack of opportunity. But I believe in our talent. I’m building my styling business, House of Quiñones, here because I know Chicago deserves a place on the global fashion map—and I’m proud to be part of that movement.
What would you do with $20,000?
If awarded the $20,000, I’d invest in studying fashion—either abroad or through a fashion and business program in the U.S. This would deepen my industry knowledge, strengthen my styling skills, and support the growth of my sustainable styling business. Education will enhance my credibility and expand my creative network, helping me reach new levels of success in the fashion world.
