Style is art you can wear—fun, personal, and endless in possibilities. It’s how I express myself (and justify that extra pair of shoes).
We would like to thank you for supporting Sarah Nalule in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
What makes my style stand out is the balance of comfort and color. I believe fashion should feel as good as it looks, so I lean toward pieces that are easy to wear but never boring. I love experimenting with bold colors, playful combinations, and unique details that bring energy and personality into my outfits. My style is all about expressing myself in a way that feels authentic, effortless, and fun.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be traveling the world, wandering into little boutiques, and finding those one-of-a-kind pieces that mix tradition with a modern twist. I’d love to discover street style in Tokyo, colorful textiles in India, and minimalist designs in Scandinavia. Each piece becoming more than just clothing, but a memory and a story I get to wear. For me, fashion isn’t just about trends, it’s about connection, to culture, creativity, and the people who bring those designs to life.
What would you do with $20,000?
If I had $20,000, I’d start by paying off my college loans — because nothing feels better than a clean slate. After that, I’d take a trip to Asia to immerse myself in different cultures and traditions, while exploring local fashion scenes for new trends and inspirations. I’d love to see how style varies from Tokyo streetwear to traditional fabrics in places like India or Vietnam, and bring back ideas that could inspire creative projects here at home.
