Style is how I speak. As an autistic LGBTQ+ activist & professor, I find joy & power in fashion inspired by Elton John & the community.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out for its avant-garde whimsy & fearless playfulness. It’s over the top in the best way—an artistic reflection of expression & imagination. I see fashion as storytelling through fabric & flair. Sequins, structure, sparkle & sincerity all coexist in my wardrobe, celebrating authenticity, community & the joy of being boldly seen.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
To be able to talk and share fashion with some of my living fashion icons: Elton John (of course), RuPaul, Mona May, Alok, Christian Siriano, Tracee Ellis Ross, etc.
What would you do with $20,000?
Of course, I would buy some fashion. Mostly, though, I would give back to the South Bay LGBTQ Center, a small community center that I am president of. Additionally, money would go to the Queer is Love Scholarship Fund, which I founded to help with the educational goals of queer students and allies at the college I teach at.
