My love of style and fashion began at 13 in London—sparked by Zandra Rhodes, Vivienne Westwood, and the July ’78 British Vogue I still have.
We would like to thank you for supporting Sandra Larrabee in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because fashion is my art and my body is the canvas. I love discovering treasures in the world and weaving them into outfits that tell a story. Each look blends expression, creativity, and unique style—timeless yet modern, elegant yet daring, eclectic yet polished—proving that fashion knows no boundaries and has no age limit.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is a tapestry of experiences - in front of the camera, capturing a photo shoot that becomes a campaign in the pages of a leading fashion magazine, and walking the runway in collaboration with one of my favorite designers, bringing their vision to life. No dream would be complete without Fashion Week: the thrill of sitting front row, immersed in the energy of the runway, watching creativity unfold in real time. For me, it isn’t one single moment, but a collection of them.
What would you do with $20,000?
$20,000 would allow me to expand my platform as a Mature Model—funding shoots, campaigns, and runway opportunities that celebrate diversity and ageless style, while opening doors for future collaborations that highlight fashion as art without boundaries. Just as importantly, it would give me the ability to give back—using fashion to inspire, uplift, and support causes like Elton John’s Style Icon Competition or similar initiatives that truly help change lives.
