Fashion is an outward expression of someone’s inner world. The psychology behind why we wear what we do exemplifies beauty in this world.
We would like to thank you for supporting Samuel Kopriva in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
It’s characteristically ME. You could spend a day or two around me and if someone new comes around dressed like me, they’ll say you dress like Sam. My style is very simple, sampling colours from the earth around me and using texture to create definition where the silhouette might be lacking. I can dress myself and anyone else in what they’ll %100 look good in using these methods. There is beauty in nature, so I do my best to reflect that in my clothes.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
I want to design a line of clothing myself and put the product out there. Something that both fashion forward people and casual dressers can wear alike. From there, bigger and better ideas. I have some crazy outfits I’d like to make and see shown to the world front and centre.
What would you do with $20,000?
I’d pay off some of my schooling debt, and invest the rest into building my fashion empire one step at a time. A large sum like $20,000 would change my life and open up new opportunities and resources to dive straight into the fashion world I so desperately want to feel like I am truly a part of.
