What makes your style stand out?

Almost everything I own was purchased at a thrift store, found in a box on the sidewalk, made at home, or borrowed from a drag queen friend. I believe that true creativity and innovative style is born out of making the best with what you have and using your imagination to tell a story. My style is bold, but it isn't intimidating– I believe in creating looks that show people I am friendly and approachable. Small children often mistake me for some kind of mythical creature!

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My fashion icon is Elizabeth Taylor and I have always dreamed of recreating one of her incredible looks from the 1963 epic Cleopatra. I would love to don an all-gold ensemble with a massive headpiece (and maybe even pop in some purple contact lenses) to channel the spirit of La Liz!

What would you do with $20,000?

I'm a struggling freelance creative who often has to put together money from several different part time jobs just to make ends meet. If I won $20,000, I could easily pay my rent, bills, and groceries for a year and take on less work from my various day jobs, so I could focus on my creative projects. But, not gonna lie– I would probably splurge on a new outfit or two as well!
