What makes your style stand out?

My style is versatile, fun, and eccentric! I aim to make a statement and to create a visual that leaves people inspired and in awe. My style stands out because I defy the standards that society has for plus size people and I want to push the limits to what fashion can look like on a bigger, curvier body.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would be to walk the runway during fashion week for a favorite designer of mine. My favorite designers range from big names such as Versace and Mugler, to smaller ones such as a local favorite, Meg Beck, but my dream runway would be for Selkie. I have experience in runway modeling, for smaller artists and experimental fashion shows, and have always dreamed of walking in fashion week. It would be a dream come true to model and walk for Selkie!

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 I would use it to upstart my plans to publish a local magazine that highlights underground fashion, art, and interviews highlighting influential figures in my community. I would also use it to fund my fashion photoshoot projects, to buy/commission the outfits, rent the studio, and pay the photographers. This prize would also be used towards traveling to as many fashion shows as I could possibly see – Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, all over the world!
