Rosemary Lockwood

It's all about the evolution of clothes, I cannot walk outside without having as many patterns and accessories on as humanly possible!

What makes your style stand out?

I always incorporate something from previous styles I have tried. I've brought in decora, tweed, y2k, little bit of everything. I also don't label what my style is, I what I wear, I don't think there's a label for it anymore. I love patterns, I love a good color scheme, I love weird accessories, all this adds up into my outfits. One thing I always include though is a silly element. I remain weird, I like funny things like sandwich shoes and worm earrings. It makes me smile, so I wear it.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

I dream to treat everyday like a runway. I do this anyways now, but I want to take it to the max. Just imagine me walking out of my little studio apartment in a tailored leopard print suit jacket and shorts set, red plaid tights and John Fluevog mary janes. My hair? Red, messy, swirls buzzed into the back of my head, two strands of hair braided to my elbows. Jewelry? Chunky: bracelets, necklaces, multiple earrings, all with a black and red color scheme. In the end, I'm going to taco bell.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the money in 3 different ways. 1, use the majority of it to pay off student loans. 2, put some away to save for an apartment in New York. 3, just a small portion of it to get through day-to-day life without having to worry as much as I do. Examples of what this portion entails is food, subway transportation, and supplies for classes and my own business I wish to grow.
