What makes your style stand out?

I have no fear!! I get dressed every day having what others perceive as good & bad style nowhere in my design. Your confidence and self expression is what makes your style yours. “Fashion is what you buy in the store, style is how you wear it”- Wendy Williams; so layer how you want, express the pallet that’s in your mind, and go for the look that makes you feel unique!

What’s your dream fashion moment?

“Milan darling, Milan” To be in the heart of fashion, expression, and design..it’s the dream. Nothing would be more fulfilling for my craft than to design for or walk in Milan Fashion Week. Showing my work to the best of the best and the opportunity to rip my work off of the paper and paint it onto the runways of Italy..I can’t help but daydream it into existence.

What would you do with $20,000?

This year through Circular Fashion Expo at University Of Illinois Urbana Champaign, I’ll be designing, constructing, and self-funding a 25 model runway focused on environmentally and ethically sourced materials. All designs will have recycled and thrifted items culminated into my own craft. $20,000 would also ensure continuing my craft in larger settings and allow for more expansive expression. I would also use this money towards furthering my education, hopefully abroad to expand my worldview.
