Rochellyne Altidor

Fashion became my passion very early on. I went to a school with uniform my whole life which stripped away any semblance of self.

What makes your style stand out?

No matter what my finances and situation looks like, it will always be THE outfit in the room. All of my clothes could be dirty and still put a cute dress on augmented for whatever weather. Nothing stops me from looking my best. Well, THAT and the fact that I always know how to dress for where I’m going. Always. Your first impression is everything and I WILL leave a lasting one even if I don’t speak.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment is to be able fund my fashion without distress. Every penny that come in contact with me ends up going solely to wellbeing. Yes, I’ve been able to stand out and put lovely things together but that’s just who I am. Truth is? I buy clothes maybe once every 2 years. I’d love to be in a moment where I can invest in myself. Not a company, not into parenting, but personality. Personal welfare. If I can do what I do WITHOUT spending any new money, imagine what I could be.

What would you do with $20,000?

Since my family and I are homeless, I would place the money in our housing fund. The economy is treacherous and I am really just looking for any way to start and continue any form or stability for my kids. We had the ability to grow up with “Live,Love, Laugh” as a mantra and it’s been all about survival with everything crashing. I want to give my kids something better than simply wanting to survive. I want to give them happiness and a stable place to grow.
