I’ve been into fashion since I was a teenager, and it has always been a way for me to express my creativity and artistry.
We would like to thank you for supporting Rita Torres in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
What makes my style stand out is the way I blend creativity with individuality. I don't follow trends blindly—instead, I use fashion as a canvas to express my personality, emotions, and artistic vision. Whether it's through unexpected color combinations, bold silhouettes, or mixing vintage and modern pieces, my style tells a story that’s uniquely mine
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be seeing one of my own designs on the runway at Paris Fashion Week. Watching a model walk in something I created—something that tells a story and connects with the audience—would be the ultimate expression of my passion for fashion and creativity. It’s not just about the glamour, but about being part of a global conversation through style and design
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000, I would invest in building my own fashion brand—from sourcing sustainable materials to creating a small capsule collection that reflects my aesthetic and values. I’d also allocate part of the funds for marketing, branding, and possibly showcasing my work in a local fashion show or pop-up event. Most importantly, I’d use this opportunity to create pieces that tell stories, support ethical production, and help me take the first real step into the industry as a designer and creative.
