Fashion is more than just clothing—it’s a powerful form of self-expression.
We would like to thank you for supporting Ricky in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
What makes my style stand out is its intentional blend of old and new. Growing up without a lot of resources taught me how to be creative with what I had — I learned to pair older, timeless pieces with one standout new item to bring everything together. That approach not only shaped my personal style but also taught me how to make a statement without needing a lot. It’s about vision, balance, and being true to who I am.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be to represent all the young Latinos who come from different walks of life and every corner of the world. Growing up, I didn’t have a role model in the fashion industry who looked like me or shared my background. So my dream is to become that figure for others — to show them that our stories, our roots, and our style deserve a place in this industry. I want to inspire and empower the next generation of Latinos to dream bigger and take up space with pride.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would use the money to start a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating real opportunities for individuals seeking a better future — whether in the fashion industry or any other field. I know what it’s like to chase a dream without resources or support, and I want to change that for others. This nonprofit would focus on mentorship, job readiness, and access to professional development, so that more people especially those from underrepresented communities can see their dreams come true.
