Love pushing boundaries and integrating luxurious fabrics/jewelry as they did in the 18th century. Fabric has no gender, more is more.
What makes your style stand out?
I've always said spend the most money on your hair and shoes, and I do both and it makes me memorable. I love accessorizing, and as men generally have less options than women, people notice. I'm not afraid of pattern, colour and texture. Cufflinks, pocket squares and lapel pins are a must. I always make sure my clothes are tailored properly and will have items custom made from fabrics I enjoy. A fan is a must for an event with dancing, and I might event throw on some beard jewlery.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
I always wanted to walk the red carpet for Elton's "Life Ball" but I would love to have the opportunity to create an amazing look for The Met Gala and walk the red carpet. My spirit animal is Auntie Mame and it would be amazing to wear a take on one of my favourite outfits from the movie. Not only an homage to her, but to speak to the wonderful trend now of the blurred lines between male and female fashion. As John Paul Gaultier said "fabric has no gender" and I truly believe the same.
What would you do with $20,000?
As a creative, I am always hustling for that next gig, paycheck, etc. I would love to be able to put this money into part of my business that I don't pay enough attention to and that is creating content and promotion. I would hire an expert in this to help me get some good content and I would also hire a strategist to assist with branding.
