What makes your style stand out?

My style stands out because I can wear anything and own it like I’m its CEO. Houndstooth? Slayed. Sequin? Slayed. A potato sack?… Slayed. I know how to sell a product and give it personality, no matter how weird (the weird stuff is my favorite). I love making preppy style fashion sexy or campy. I bring a modern edge to classic/vintage beauty and I like my outfits to become a point of conversation. I want to walk into rooms I don’t belong in and make it seem like I do.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would host a horror-style, glamor fashion show. My idol is Elvira, and I would love to be a part of something that makes ghoulish things couture. Blood is red jewels, black latex dresses, spider webs are diamonds, etc. I have a drag queen persona named Desira. She’s a red demon and the Marilyn Monroe of Hell. I want to make my stage persona shine and encourage everyone with other weird alternative styles to have a place to share their art. Weird art is the best art!!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would immediately donate some of it to The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) because people deserve basic human rights. THEN, I would spend it on upping my closet and becoming more stylish. I want to look like I stepped out of a 1950s Hollywood fashion magazine. THEN, I would fund my own show that I would host. I want to allow myself to be the star that I know I am, rather than wait for someone to give it to me. I am an entertainer and I want to show the world what I can do… And I will!
