Fashion lets me constantly reinvent myself—each look is a new era, a new version of me, and another way to express my imagination.
We would like to thank you for supporting Quincy Adair in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because I mix the unexpected—I pull from horror films, cartoons, and old-school pop culture to create something fresh and bold. I love making even simple looks feel intentional and expressive. As a Black boy from the hood of South Carolina, I wear what others might not dare to, blending nostalgia and chaos in every outfit. I dress how I feel, never afraid to turn imagination into fashion.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be walking a runway in a fashion piece or wearing something that fully captures my creativity. I’ve always wanted to model, and I already create my own photoshoots and sketch looks I’d wear to award shows or the Met Gala. Being able to bring one of those visions to life—with my own music playing—would be a surreal full-circle moment of self-expression and art.
What would you do with $20,000?
’d invest every dollar into my art and creativity. I have so many ideas in fashion and beyond, but my budget limits my vision. With $20,000, I’d buy a sewing machine, fabrics, and materials to start producing my own pieces, and fund my music and visual projects. It would help me build the foundation of my art career and finally bring my ideas to life the way I imagine them.
