Style is my unapologetic voice honoring my Black trans journey, defying limits, and showing the world resilience can be beautiful.
What makes your style stand out?
Once overlooked and underestimated, I rose from the hardships of poverty, homelessness, and the struggles of being a Black transgender woman. My journey was marked by resilienc, overcoming isolation, rejection, and the weight of societal barriers. Through perseverance, self-expression, and an unshakable belief in my worth, I transformed my pain into power. Today, I am celebrated not only for my bold sense of style but for redefining beauty, confidence, and authenticity. A true fashionable icon!
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Since I was a little girl, I dreamed of walking the runways of Paris and New York Fashion Week the lights, the cameras, the music, the energy of a room that feels like it’s pulsing with possibility. But as a Black transgender woman, that dream always felt like a world away, locked behind gates built from poverty, rejection, and the weight of society’s judgment. I never stopped dreaming, though. When doors didn’t open, I created my own stage. Sidewalks of GA,NY, SC, VA, NC, FL CA, CHI ETC
What would you do with $20,000?
Owning my first home is one of the proudest moments of my life. It represents stability, independence, and the chance to build something lasting. But as a first-time homeowner without the cushion of generational wealth or extra savings, the joy can sometimes be overshadowed by the weight of unexpected repairs. The $20,000 would help to begin to change overdue repairs for me. With that support, I could take care of critical issues that need attention.
